Yammouneh Tourism Association launched the “Touristic Police Team” in collaboration with the Municipality of Yammouneh. The team was formed by young and dedicated volunteers and their main mission was to preserve and protect the touristic sites in Yammouneh (mainly the river, the ponds and the lake). This team conducted awareness campaigns as well for all the incoming tourists.
